The girls have been practicing taking care of a baby.  They have a little baby doll they have been feeding, burping and changing diapers for.  It’s totally adorable.  Arwen has been so sweet, though when she burps the baby she “pats” pretty hard.  I’m going to have to teach her to be a little more gentle when her brother is born.  Kyla on the other hand is sooo gentle and careful except for when she is fighting with Arwen to keep the baby.  I think they are going to do really great when their brother is born.

She loves feeding her baby!

For those who don’t know I am not much of a camper.  The dirt, the bugs, the trying to cook my food over a fire, and the lack of plumbing…it just doesn’t work for me.  I am much like my Mother in that our idea of roughing it out is a Motel 6 with no internet and a questionable continental breakfast.  Since it’s summer and EVERYONE going camping during the summer, right?  I decided we would go camping.  In our living room.  Ahh yes the joys of camping with climate control and a tv.  I set up the tent yesterday because it has been so insanely hot that I thought the girls needed something fun since there was no way I was going to go outside with it a blistering 106 degrees.  I also blew up one of our air mattresses and put it in the tent.  They girls thought this was awesome!  They played in it all day and then Kyla got to “camp” over night in the tent.  Which she thought was really cool.  Though she kept saying she wanted someone else to come camping with her.  Dustin hung out with her for a while till she was almost asleep.

The girls loving their tent!

Watching wild animals in the wilderness.  LOL.

We might some day go camping for reals just so that the girls can experience it, but until then this will do just fine.  :D

Such a great title right?  I just couldn’t figure out what to put.  :)  Though this post is exactly what the title says a Sunday update.

I’ll start off with Kyla.  This morning as we were getting ready for church she was drawing on a magnet board.  Then she ran over to show me her picture.  She had drawn a very nice butterfly.  I was super impressed.  She really is getting good at this now.  Perhaps she’ll be an artist?

Then we had another funny moment with Arwen falling sleep in a strange way.  Dustin had left for a home teaching appointment and the girls were watching a bible cartoon.  When Dustin got home 30 minutes later she was fast asleep in her little blue chair.  It was so cute.

Also I have been promising a few people that I would post an updated pregnancy picture.  There is a definite change in size now that I am 19 weeks.  From 15 weeks to 19 weeks.  I’m getting the cute pregnant belly look now.  At least I think so.  :)

Also I started feeling the baby move last week!  It’s always an amazing sensation when you start to feel your baby move.  It makes everything so real.  So far I am doing well, I am starting to get a bit of heartburn, but other than that this has got to be the easiest pregnancy yet.  For those who don’t remember my first two pregnancies, I was sick for months and then by the time that was over I was getting heavier and I kept hurting my back.  So this has been a total breeze!  I am still quite tired all the time, but I think that’s what happens when you have 2 rambunctious kids running around all day.  :)
